Thai Spicy Glass Noodle Salad (Yum Woon Sen)

A vibrant and refreshing salad with a perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bundle dried glass noodles
  • 10-12 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped mushroom
  • Pinnto Thai Green Spicy Sauce (Dressing)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Noodles:
    - Soak the glass noodles in warm water for about 10 minutes, or until softened.
    - Drain and set aside.

  2. Cook the Protein:
    - Shrimp: Boil the shrimp in salted water for 2-3 minutes, or until cooked through. Drain and set aside.
    - Ground Pork: Sauté the ground pork in a pan over medium heat until cooked through. Drain off any excess fat.
    - Mushroom: Boil the mushroom in water for 2-3 minutes, or until cooked through. Drain and set aside.

  3. Assemble the Salad:
    - In a large bowl, combine the glass noodles, cooked shrimp, ground pork, mushroom, red onion, cilantro, and green onion.
    - Pour the Pinnto Thai Green Spicy sauce dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly.

Tips:

  • For a more intense flavor, marinate the shrimp and ground pork in the Pinnto Thai Green Spicy sauce for a few minutes before adding to the salad.
  • Adjust the amount of chilies to your desired level of spiciness.
  • Serve immediately to enjoy the fresh flavors.
